Tour of Spain 2023
The 78th edition of the Vuelta a España was a stage-based road cycling race that took place between August 26 and September 17, 2023, starting in the city of Barcelona1 and ending in the city from Madrid. The route consisted of a total of 21 stages over a total distance of 3169.9 km.
A total of 22 teams took the game, of which the 18 UCI WorldTeam category teams will attend in their own right, as well as Lotto Dstny and TotalEnergies, being the two best UCI ProTeam teams from the previous season. The remaining 2 places were allocated to Spanish UCI ProTeam teams by direct invitation of the event organizers. The starting platoon was made up of 176 cyclists.
