The 'gravel' have the presence of a road bike, but with nuances. “They are bikes derived from cross cycling, but better adapted to long-distance use, with a more relaxed geometry. It has other angles, with a more reinforced frame that seeks greater comfort and absorption. Geometrically, a 'gravel' is a little more forward in direction than a road one, with longer chainstays, more comfortable due to its construction." And a key issue: “you might as well put some road tires on it and go out on the asphalt perfectly, because it is suitable for mounting tires of a certain thickness, 30-40c, and even with studs that you cannot mount on a road bike, either because the wheel does not pass through the fork, or because the rear part does not allow it. Its components make it a bike more adapted to track use. If you don't have very racing aspirations, it is a very versatile bike.”
